Using a sophisticated computer algorithm developed by Facebook, Image Scan is able to browse the images in a user’s photo album and identify brand markings and products with startling accuracy. We even impressed ourselves with this one.

Let the users do the promoting.

The users on Facebook already do an enormous amount of promotion of your product in Photo Albums, by being seen in photographs wearing your clothes, displaying your brand, or using your product. Facebook Image Scan simply intends to bring these promotions to light by tagging them in photos and providing pricing, as well as a link back to your product page, where a potential sale could be made.

We haven't forgotten the human touch.

Although Facebook Image Scan is revolutionary, it is not quite perfect. Whenever the computer program struggles to identify a brand marking or product, the photo is flagged. Our human Facebook employees will then view the image and attempt to tag any and all brand markings and products by hand. This method ensures greater accuracy and more exposure to your products.
